Today, despite the weather forecast indicating the afternoon winds from the north at 70 km / h, we decided to go cycling along the Tamagawa. In keeping with the manual for amateurs, however, we decided to do the first leg to windward, so as not to have to fight back to Aeolus, and then we came down the course, unlike the other time.
The Tamagawa was nice and crowded as usual: who to jogging, to those who exercise his swing, some riding, some to play baseball and who to fish. In addition there was a smell of spring in the air that had been so long since I felt.
At one point, along the banks, in a stretch where there were concrete blocks that emerged from the water, check the little things we have seen, that at a closer look proved to be the turtles that were basking the warmth of the sun.
It seemed incredible that a river flowing in a megalopolis like Tokyo mantentere succeed in life in a colony of turtles, as well as herons, ducks and fish variety. Have any of you tell me if you have ever seen in Trastevere herons and turtles in the last 10 years?
So beandoci of nature around us, we continued our ride along the river, until at some point ...
... a yellowish cloud in front of us we were not warned that the weather we had taken! The wind got up suddenly, making us eat dust and accompany, in fact, pushing us, at home. And once back he started to get serious: while what has surprised us on the banks was a breeze at 20 mph in the afternoon to nearly 50, resulting in turn in all parking of bicycles in a forest of wheels get up in the sky.
soon!
